Biography
Charlotte has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, of which more than 20 have been spent working for UNECE based in Geneva, Switzerland. She has held various positions in the Sustainable Energy Division working with member States on energy policies and the transition to sustainable patterns of energy development. Previous roles include Secretary of the Committee on Sustainable Energy – the principal intergovernmental body within UNECE responsible for promoting international cooperation in the field of energy – and the Groups of Experts on Coal, Coal Mine Methane and Electric Power. Currently Deputy Director and Secretary of the Expert Group on Resource Management, with key responsibility for UNECE’s work on implementation of the UN Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) and development and implementation of the UN Resource Management System (UNRMS). Charlotte was also UNECE’s spokesperson and Head of the Information Services Unit for almost two years.
