Pedro Delgado holds a BSc Geology from the Complutense University of Madrid (1988). He has over 30 years of experience related to Geological Resources such as oil and gas exploration (both onshore and offshore), hidrogeology (groundwater urban supply) and open pit mining operations (aggregates). Since 2014 he is a raw materials specialist at the Department of Geological Resources for the Ecological Transition of the Spanish Geological Survey and he has been involved in several European projects of raw materials funded by the EC such as: Minerals4EU, MICA, MinLex, MIN- GUIDE, FORAM, ORAMA, MINLAND, MINTELL4EU, FRAME and recently GSEU. He was also a member of Minerals Resources Expert Group (EGS-MREG) since 2016 to 2021. And right now is a member of the Network of Practitioners of Europe (UNECE-NoPE).
