Gerardo Herrera is currently working as policy analyst at the Energy Intensive Industries and Raw Materials unit from DG GROW, where he deals with raw materials knowledge base, the energy and industry geographical lab, earth observation for raw materials and the coordination on raw materials in Latin America. He is Seconded National Expert from the Geological Survey of Spain where he is a research professor in Earth Observation applications for Geosciences.
