Biography
PhD Krzysztof Fuławka works as Assistant Professor in Rock Engineering Department of KGHM Cuprum Ltd Research and Development Centre. He received his doctoral degree in Mining Engineering at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland. He also obtained a postgraduate diploma in Applied Geophysics at AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow, Poland. In last few years, Krzysztof has participated in numerous international research and scientific projects financed by Interreg BSR, Polish National Centre for Research and Development, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe and EIT Raw Materials. He is an author and co-author of numerous research reports, scientific papers and pre-feasibility studies. His background is rock mechanics and numerical modelling as well as risk assessment and blasting technology. Krzysztof Fuławka is also a vice-chair of European Underground Laboratories Association (EUL).
