MSc in geology and mineralogy from university of Turku, Finland. Since graduation I have work experience from both private sector, from exploration and mining in Finland and Sweden, and from public sector, from national mining authority in Finland. Since 2012 I am the specialist in minerals policy at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. The ministry is amongst other things responsible for the national mining law and decrees based on it, and strategic steering of the Geological Survey of Finland, both are essential elements of raw materials supply.
