Sibila Borojevic Sostaric is a professor in geology of ore deposits at University of Zagreb-Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering in Croatia. She was a leader or associate in numerous EIT RawMaterials projects, bilateral projects between Croatia, Austria and Hungary, Austrian and Croatian Science Foundation projects. She participated in organization of many domestic and international expert meetings, workshops, conferences and popularization events.

She is a member of the Education committee of the EIT Raw materials; Thematic Innovation Council of the Republic of Croatia for Energy and Sustainable Environment; a coordinator of the University committee for EIT KIC Raw materials: and a member of several Committees at her institution. She was recently awarded with PROFFORMANCE International Teaching Excellence Award for ADRIA Internship programme in category Impact and mission with and for society.
